Job Description: 

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

  • Assist the Supply Chain team in co-ordination of various activities like vendor pre-qualification, inventory analysis, and MIS reporting.  Reports to the Manager – Supply Chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Vendor pre-qualification process and identify potential vendors aligned to company's needs.
  • Identify new potential suppliers, establish strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Maintain a supplier evaluation system and coordinate with vendors to help improve their performance.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure orders are in processed and deliveries are completed within due dates.
  • Ensure QC requirements on deliveries, follow-up with vendors and closeout any deviations and OSDR.
  • Support warehouse / operations / accounting teams on documentation and tracking information.
  • Conduct Inventory analysis, consumption patterns and support development of procurement plan. Provide inputs to Supply Chain Manager for developing procurement strategies.
  • Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement in Supply Chain processes.
  • Prepare MIS reports and analysis on spends, KPIs for management review.

REPORTING AND COMMUNICATION

  • Reports to the Manager – Supply Chain
  • Maintains and exhibits excellent teamwork and relationships with all Crescent staff.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS OF POSITION

  • Continuous up gradation of skills through trainings in logistics management

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or engineering.  Diploma in Logistics Management or Supply Chain management preferred.
