Supply Chain Supervisor

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Oversees all activities associated with sourcing, procurement, contracting, logistics, and the delivery of essential materials and services required for Company’s drilling projects in Iraq. Ensures timely delivery with effective cost management while maintaining the highest standards of safety for personnel and Company assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ensure all supply chain activities are carried out in line with Company’s policies and processes.
• Ensure complete documentation for transactions in Company’s document management system, suitable for auditing purposes.
• Supervise procurement of local materials for Company’s drilling projects in Iraq
• Support HQ team on procurement of international orders including long-lead items
• Set up contracts for equipment hire and purchase, fabrication, and services in compliance with DoA and local regulations.
• Work with logistics to select optimal freight modes and consolidation methods for international shipments
• Coordinate with E&P team on contract call-outs, mobilization and demobilization requirements.
• Collaborate with transport companies to determine routes for site locations.
• Coordinate with security and HSE on route threats and clearances.
• Oversee warehousing functions ensuring proper conditions and equipment maintenance.
• Receive and inspect materials returned by end-users.
• Determine material needs and transfers with plant, worksites, and logistics departments.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and services at project/well sites.
• Organize shipping and returns of materials including documentation.
• Supervise operation and maintenance of materials handling equipment.
• Ensure accurate ERP (SAP) system transactions and utilization.
• Implement controls and process management related to software.
• Issue requisitions to meet end-user requirements, providing feedback on shortages.
• Provide periodic material receipt/issue reports to accounts team.
• Direct warehouse staff ensuring timely and quality work completion.
• Allocate storage racks/bins for received materials to ensure preservation and retrieval.
• Lead supply chain team in best practices and performance measurement through KPIs.
• Report department KPIs with analysis and countermeasures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent; Degree in Engineering will be an advantage
• Minimum 12 years Oil and Gas industry experience
• Any certification in warehousing / logistics / Supply chain would be an added advantage
