Job Description: 

MAJOR FUNCTIONS 

  • The senior planner shall coordinate and manage all functional planners within their team.
  • The Senior planner shall be responsible for all planning and scheduling for Khormor facilities (KM500/400) maintenance, including shutdowns, and slowdowns and the 90 day integrated plan. 
  • The Senior planner shall liaise and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
  • They shall coordinate with other department planners to ensure that all activities are carried out in an efficient, cost-effective and safe manner. Ensuring the right activities are carried out at the right time.
  • They shall ensure that all activities are coordinated to ensure minimum production impacts is realised at Khormor Facilities
  • They shall be responsible for developing and managing the Khormor facilities integrated field plans, 2 weekly, monthly, 90 day, and annual.
  • They shall be responsible for the management and administration of the Khormor facilities maintenance CMMS (SAP) to facilitate all maintenance activities across the Khormor Facilities and well site. They shall be responsible for ensuring the CMMS and its information is kept up to date and valid, continuously reviewing and seeking improvements, and ensuring all relevant data is recorded accurately.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Manage Khormor facilities planning requirements to ensure effective Maintenance as required to ensure plant availability at Maximum to allow Operational targets, (Gas and Liquid), to be achieved.
  • Ensures accurate administration of the CMMS.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance integrated field plans.
  • Develop and manage the Khormor facilities Shutdown/Slowdown plan.
  • Ensures all maintenance of Safety Critical Equipment is within compliance and initiates the deferral process when required.
  • Liaises and co-operates with other heads of department, ensuring awareness of schedule & ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Key function is to develop and mentor the LN planning team competencies including coordination, planning, reporting, SAP improvements, improving Primavera skills and managing stakeholders.
  • Takes planned and unplanned maintenance work and schedules to make maximum use of resource capacity, aligning with operational outage windows. 
  • Maintains a schedule break-in process ensuring that all deviations to the agreed schedule are identified, reported and approved as appropriate.
  • Manages the planning & scheduling of all CBM / RBI maintenance activities.
  • Participates in the effective monitoring, audit and review of management systems and procedures and contributes to their further development and continuous improvement.
  • Manages through detailed planning, preparation and reporting the execution of both PM and Corrective Maintenance works in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintains facilities equipment and associated documentation in accordance with prescribed PM schedules.
  • Participates where required, in the investigation and reporting of accidents and incidents.
  • Participates in and Leads Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) where required.
  • Primarily responsible for Shutdown Plans for all Khormor facilities, schedules, and execution. 
  • Review KPIs and workorder feedback forms to improve the Maintenance Process within SAP.
  • Conduct quality checks of SAP input e.g., workorder history, material requests, etc. to provide suitable reliability data and minimise rework.
  • Ensures the effective achievement of maintenance department KPI objectives through accurate efficient planning activities.
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with all team members.
  • Identifies areas for improving facilities on a continuous basis in order to increase equipment availability and productivity.
  • Support the ongoing improvement in managing the safety and environment critical elements.
  • Support the ongoing improvement in developing maintenance KPIs and performance standards. 
  • Support the Maintenance management team in the implementation of the availability growth roadmap including but not limited to RAM study, define, and refine PM frequencies, FMECA, CBM, etc.
  • Working closely with the planning engineer to develop and issue the asset integrated plans.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Appropriate Technical qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Extensive operations or maintenance experience with a major global operator in a planning environment ideally within oil & gas or petrochemical industries. 
  • Demonstrable experience and qualifications using IT planning tools e.g., Primavera.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Oil aBLnd Gas or similar industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in the use of SAP PM CMMS and Primavera Planning Tools.
  • Skilled in the use of other software packages including MS Word, Excel, Project.
